Get in the Game: Dive into the Role

We are looking for the next Key Account Manager to develop and support the partnership between Colgate-Palmolive and Distributors, helping to synchronize our category strategies and the distributors shopper strategies to increase demand and accounts support for our profitable growth and distribution.

Your Mission: What You Will Do

  • Understand account values, strategies, and needs; develop internal networks across key departments to anticipate and meet business demands.
  • Identify buyer needs and deliver proactive, value-driven solutions across the supply chain, aiming to improve gross margin and reduce costs.
  • Execute investment strategies, negotiate beyond pricing, and focus on mutually beneficial value-added services.
  • Collaborate with Retail Marketing for customized presentations and attend regular cross-functional and quarterly meetings to review performance against plans.
  • Monitor sales and service performance daily, provide monthly variance reports, and address key issues and opportunities.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate account-specific events and promotions; provide training, track activities, and use results to refine tactics.
  • Ensure all investments are financially justified and aligned with strategy, maintain budget accuracy, and resolve credit issues with regular reviews.
  • Track competitive activities, update relevant teams, and work with Customer Service to ensure product availability and anticipate inventory needs.

Must-Haves for Success: Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • 3+ years in commercial areas such as sales and/or marketing with solid experience in the mass consumption industry.
  • Experience working with Distributors and/or customers with sales forces.
  • Intermediate - Advanced English proficiency.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Boost Your Game: Preferred Qualifications

  • Negotiation skills.
  • Customer experience.
  • Data analysis.
  • Finance experience managing gross to net, P&L and others.
