About The Role
 
The Category Management Specialist helps to complete Best Practice templates for each stage of process for assigned categories using Nielsen and Consumer Insight studies to understand channel, segment and size trends, consumer needs and purchase decision process, purchase frequency, intensity and transaction size etc, with the objective of helping partner accounts improve management of the category through the supply chain to the point of sale.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
 

  • Analyze partner account data and compare with market to identify category opportunities and develop category strategies and tactics for assortment, pricing, promotion and merchandising at the point of sale
  • Ensure RCD Category Management processes implementation across different customer in the Indirect Channel. 
  • Manage category partnership process to ensure delivery of high quality, timely analysis and become an indispensable part of the account's business
  • Help evaluate and supervise all tests before, during and after implementation and against control stores in order to build understanding of the impact of different tactics at the point of sale and improve CP ́s overall understanding of category demand drivers
  • Merchandising/Shelf Management (Use of Planograms Softwares) 
  • Finalize generic category planograms based on strategies and tactics developed in Best Practices process
  • Perform analysis of Account data and tailor planograms to account needs
  • Support Field Sales, Consumer Marketing and Channel requests for merchandising support to help us “win at the shelf”

 
Basic Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • At least +2 years of experience as CATMAN or similar roles.
  • Experience managing Nielsen and/or Kantar
  • Google Suite Proficiency 
  • Excel/Sheets Proficiency 
  • Intermediate English Level
  • Experience managing Space planning and/or Spaceman

 
*Availability to travel up to 50% of the time
