Job Purpose:
This role drives growth within the veterinary channel in the Nordics for Hill's Prescription Diet and Vet Essentials brands. The position is responsible for enhancing Hill's brand awareness and cultivating a distinct image by engaging with pet owners and key influencers across various platforms. A key objective is to acquire new pet owners and convert them to Hill's brand feeding. This role leads the development, implementation, and execution of marketing plans and campaigns aimed at increasing Hill's share of market within the therapeutic segment
What you will do:
- Develop, recommend and implement brand strategies to grow business in Vet Channel with PD and VE demonstrating Hill’s regional strategies.
- Detailed market analysis of Consumer, Shopper and Veterinary insights to develop marketing plans in all appropriate channels, including:
- Reviewing and mining existing data and research for actionable insights;
- Applying relevant insights to the development and execution of marketing initiatives;
- Learn standard methodologies from Hills in countries, global guidelines and provide recommendations.
- Commercial monthly reviews co-leadership with other functions with analysis and recommendations to the management team
- Support of effective communication with internal partners – regional marketing, PVA, CD, supply chain teams to reach alignment, executional excellence and speed to market
- Executional excellence of New Product launches in Nordic countries
- Develop Marketing Plans addressing brand’s targets
- Analyze pricing dynamics on the market and provide recommendations
- Plan Demand for the brand, update monthly, provide input to CS&L according to CBP process
- Full responsibility for A&P brand budget management, monthly spending control, reporting and reallocation
- Leadership of category portfolio management process based on analytic tools
Who you are
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience within a consumer marketing company is essential, including at least 3 years specifically in brand management.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Economics is required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a proactive approach to learning and development are necessary.
- Proven strong analytical abilities in interpreting data and consumer studies are critical.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- Experience working with professional associations, particularly pet clinics and veterinary practices, is advantageous.
- A successful track record of driving new product launches is highly desirable.
- Experience in the execution of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMCs) and providing marketing support is important.
- Familiarity with Brand Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis and promotion profitability evaluation is expected.
- Proven ability to develop brand strategies is key.
- Experience in evaluating and analyzing market trends, and providing actionable recommendations based on these insights, is essential.
- Proficiency in communicating reports effectively in settings such as Sales Conferences and Business Reviews is required.
