We are looking for a highly motivated Operations Team Leader to join our team! This role efficiently leads Operators Processing and Operators Packaging, production activities and developing collaborative partnerships with colleagues. Delivering the agreed to business and plant results while maintaining positive employee relations. The primary accountabilities of the role include daily production schedule adherence, quality, EHS, logistics, production financial performance, labor relations, people and team development.

 

 

What you will do

  • Accountable for the quality and efficiency of the production department, and its ability to deliver high levels of service to internal and external customers
  • Lead the people, materials and equipment to deliver maintenance performance objectives, as measured by plant metrics.
  • Manage Production (Managing the process of converting raw materials into finished goods)
  • Manage Materials and Services (Understands the relationship that operations, planning, logistics and manufacturing processes have on material and conversion costs and utilization in the area)
  • Continuous Improvement: (Conducts Continuous Improvement Reviews to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement.)
  • Operational Excellence Leadership-(Demonstrating the leadership values inherent in our EOHS, Quality and FP&R principles and systems)
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures for staffing, shift schedule, vacation scheduling, and training to meet business needs including peak production periods
  • Lead the development and implementation of the daily production schedule in a way that ensures high levels of service to internal and external customers
  • Identify, recommend and implement manufacturing cost reduction programs Executes new technology within the production area
  • Delivering input on both capital and operating budgets Communicates and implement the local Supply Chain vision, mission, strategy and objectives.
  • Implement FP&R and other continuous improvement programs.
  • Implement strategies within the production department to consistently manufacture and ensure the quality of finished goods
  • Develop and implement appropriate margin improvement initiatives
  • Accountable for adhering to Colgate, local and governmental guidelines related to Environment, Safety, Quality and Regulatory
  • Participate in driving the employee engagement strategy to maintain positive employee relations
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineer or related fields.
  • Experience in Manufacturing environment will be advantaged.
  • Able to work in shift rotation
  • Good command of English Communication (both writing and speaking).
  • Good negotiation & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize critical responsibilities and multi-task to meet various deadlines.
  • Proficient in using Google tools is preferable. Other computer skills i.e. SAP APO, Tableau

 


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $38.000,00 - $57.000,00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
