We are looking for a highly motivated Operations Team Leader to join our team! This role efficiently leads Operators Processing and Operators Packaging, production activities and developing collaborative partnerships with colleagues. Delivering the agreed to business and plant results while maintaining positive employee relations. The primary accountabilities of the role include daily production schedule adherence, quality, EHS, logistics, production financial performance, labor relations, people and team development.

What you will do

  • Troubleshoots production problems to ensure smooth operation such as manpower arrangement, equipment, raw material, and packaging material
  • Supervises subordinates and provides on the job coaching & feedback and training
  • Monitors and controls the usage of raw material, packaging material etc. to comply with the standard
  • Coordinate with related parties to develop the production lines including cost estimates, time lines and specifications for business feasibility studies and maintenance activities
  • Facilitates sharing of ideas, knowledge and best practices to improve processes and solve problems
  • Understands the linkages among supply/demand KPIs and the impact of tools improvement on those KPIs
  • Acts as Team Leader on the production lines to supervise the team to carry on the production and meet the target with high quality and safety
  • Ensures manpower, raw materials, and packaging materials support the production lines
  • Ensures all machines are in proper function, materials are available; plant environments are in accordance with safety regulation
  • Utilize all resources such as manpower, machines, material within standard to control the products cost
  • Ensures all team members strictly adhere to safety regulations such as wearing the protection equipment etc.
  • Promotes safety and quality awareness and carry out FP&R standard
  • Innovates, develops and improves work systems as well as production technologies to enhance moving toward manufacturing excellence
  • Creates a positive attitude towards company, department and work unit
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineer or related fields
  • Experience in Manufacturing environment will be advantaged
  • At least 1 year for Quality Systems
  • Can work in shift
  • Good command of English Communication (both writing and speaking)
  • Good communication skills
  • Growth Mindset
  • Ability to prioritize critical responsibilities and multi-task to meet various deadlines
  • Drive cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives at the plant to support Funding the Growth initiative
  • Participate in driving the employee engagement strategy to maintain positive employee relations
