The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of Merchandising Assistants, being responsible for managing his team, carrying out constant monitoring and training for the team and working in the field directly monitoring customers.  

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a link between the sales team and merchandising assistants, sharing information and experiences. 
  • Support/Supervise the implementation of plans and strategies established by the Marketing, Retail and Sales teams.
  • Support/Supervise the implementation of planograms established by the company for each segment.
  • Support/Supervise the placement of point-of-sale material and the negotiation/placement of displays.
  • Manage the team's material needs and control the inventory of materials and materials used.
  • Control/Manage expenses generated by the team of Merchandising Assistants.
  • Plan the team’s work itineraries/systems.
  • Maintain a good relationship with store managers/in-charge, forming a link between the Company and the customer.
  • Lead and train the team of assistants.
  • Encourage and supervise the team's participation in competitions.
  • Supervise and monitor the flow of field information ensuring that the team responds to all available surveys correctly and within the established deadline.

 

Basic requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Experience in the Commercial area
  • Experience with leadership
  • Office Package and Google Toolkit (Sheets, Slides, Meeting)

 

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in the Merchandising area
  • Intermediary English
