Job Description
We are seeking 3 dedicated and detail-oriented Liquid Making (LM) Cleaning & Sanitization (C&S) Focus Resources to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. This subject matter expert role is critical in supporting our production processes and maintaining a safe work environment.
The schedule for this position is: 12 hours, 4 on and 4 off. We are hiring 1 for day shift, and 2 for night shift. You must be able to work weekends, holidays, and provide vacation coverage.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of process equipment within the manufacturing plant

New installations and repairs

Tanks, filters and associated piping

Color systems

Disassembling of process equipment

Operate all Clean-In-Place (CIP) equipment—both fixed and portable—ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed throughout operations.

Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and sanitizers according to safety data sheets (SDS) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaborate with the safety team to integrate new cleaning chemicals into the facility, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations

Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, tasks completed, and any incidents or issues encountered during cleaning operations.

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate all cleaning activities to ensure there is no interference with production schedules or projects.

Collaborate with outside resources to continuously improve C&S procedures

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling chemicals and operating equipment.

Coordinate safety requirements to contractors for C&S activities
-
Participate in & lead training sessions on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and workplace safety.

Actively participate in all C&S team meetings
-
Assist in the development and review of cleaning SOP’s that align with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA) as well as industry best practices.

Support the LM daily operations

Assist the Area Leader in implementing operational improvements.

Conduct regular inspections of the area and equipment to identify and correct areas needing attention or improvement.

Identify potential equipment malfunctions and document using the notification process in SAP.

Work closely with maintenance personnel to troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.

Maintain awareness of the site’s Process Safety Management (PSM) Program; be familiar with evacuation procedures to ensure preparedness in emergency situations.

Operate PSM-covered processes in accordance with site policies and procedures, adhering strictly to established guidelines for safety and efficiency.

Assist engineering during Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and review operating procedures annually or as needed to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Qualification

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in industrial cleaning or sanitation preferred.

Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing or a related industry.

Previous experience in a cleaning role within a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.

Internal Candidate:Level 2 Operator Tech Certification Required
Skills Required

Knowledge of chemical handling procedures, including familiarity with SDS documentation.

Proficient using computer systems and software (SAP/Google/Wonderware).

Strong communication and leadership skills for effective collaboration with team members across various departments.
-
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with plant operations including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
-
Must be able to pass HAZMAT physical and respiratory fit testing.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
