Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the provisioning of critical infrastructure services (local, virtual and specialized services) for CP
- Lead local/regional projects and manage complex and/or major infrastructure initiatives
- Monitor and improve the performance and utilization of Infrastructure Services
- Provide second level technology troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, servers, LAN connectivity, network printers, and local software)
- Manage the acquisition, control, replacement and maintenance of IT equipment, including asset tracking, leasing and budgeting aspects for the entire region under your responsibility
- Develop a partnership with business management, users and suppliers in the Andean Region
- Maintain effective communication with the management and users of the Andean Region, the W&CS team and the rest of the GIT organization
- Monitor, coordinate and manage with relevant people any system / infrastructure performance / reliability issues
- Act as liaison with the Global Infrastructure Service to escalate and resolve critical issues in the region
- Direct investigations of unusual patterns or anomalies affecting the infrastructure and general business objectives; determine and/or recommend appropriate actions
- Ensure alignment with GIT standards, policies and procedures
- Lead the internal and external IT audit process in the region
- Quarterly complete all tasks related to the list of infrastructure controls of the region in charge
- Perform infrastructure management activities ensuring compliance with maintenance policies and security requirements
- Provide local coordination and planning of the GIT Grid projects
- Assist the global process with the preparation and administration of the regional infrastructure budget
- Participate and encourage user participation in the change management process. Plan the effective preparation of users for new launches of IT products and/or services
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, the capabilities of the latest technology, and the potential impact on supporting the business
- Keep all relevant parties (CP and GIT) fully informed of the plans, progress, problems and risks related to the IT infrastructure
- Locally monitor, support and encourage greater use of IT technologies through technology launches and training sessions.
- Maintain proactive communication with users at all levels of the organization to ensure their perspectives are incorporated into GIT products and services
- Collaborate with other teams within GIT to evaluate standards, propose policies and procedures to improve support and end user experience
- Develop a performance measurement framework and facilitate the feedback system to Infrastructure staff on issues such as customer service, communication and technical skills, in order to improve the quality of support provided
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering in Information Systems or related field.
- Have at least 8 years of experience, working in a corporate IT support environment and with personnel in charge. Management of budgets and local and global suppliers.
- Desirable experience in the private sector and in a multinational consumer goods organization.

- Familiarity with the TCP/IP Network Protocol
- Experience troubleshooting device connectivity issues
- Experience with Cisco network switch configuration and Virtual Lans
- Desirable knowledge in WMware WorkspaceOne
- Desirable experience with Freshservice or any other ticket tool.
- Desirable knowledge with Google Workspace
- Desirable experience with VMware and Nutanix environments
- Desirable experience with SAP.
