We are looking for a new colleague for an important position in our young, ambitious and winning team as Assistant Brand Manager within our successful subsidiary located in Brussels. Reporting to the Consumer Experience Manager Oral Care, the Assistant Brand Manager is a key contributor to the overall marketing team. In this role s(he) demonstrates excellent brand insights in building optimum design communication material for the retailers. Additionally s(he) manages the stock, ensuring continuous availability of the products for consumer services & the sales team. Furthermore s(he) functions as the go to system expert of the different brands. 

 

Success in this role translates in being a true team member as well as being an enthusiastic communicator working with different collaborators, ensuring consistent brand integrity in the multi-brand designs and support material. 

 

What you'll do

  • Design

  • Be in charge of the development of marketing support initiatives to drive core base business product 

  • Be in charge of of the development of marketing support for the Field team 

  • Be the SPOC for all design from retailers collaborating with Key Account Managers and brand managers

  • Assist & guide the intern on all the multi-brands design

  • Work closely with local Brand Marketing colleagues and customer development to align timing and content of in-store activation

  • Drive internal engagement support & also external engagement (newspaper, newsflash) on all the brands

  • Design Budget

  • Be responsible for the invoicing on all the designs assets to ensure a good budget follow up by the brand manager

  • Translation

  • Support the full team to ensure that all visuals and ads in FR & NL are correctly translated

  • Assist on the development of local promotional activities for all the brands

  • Support the brand manager in the creation of new promotional or specific products for the local retailers

  • Support brand manager on ad hoc market analysis

  • Maintain stock room guaranteeing continuous product availability

  • Bachelor or Master degree 

  • Dutch native speaker; fluent in French and English 

  • An excellent communicator easily adapting communication towards different audiences in a clear, concise, and appropriate manner 

  • A positive can-do attitude that persists regardless of challenges, with a strong sense of collaboration

  • Thorough planning and priority setting
