What you will do;
 

  • Accountable for the Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and working with the local Supply Chain.

 

  • Executes effective negotiations for specific local raw material, packaging materials and finished goods

 

  • Implements and monitors the Procurement budget for the specific materials and finished goods of responsibility   

  • Accountable for optimizing raw and packing material inventories 

 

  • Interfaces with suppliers’ sales, technical and other functional groups as well as Colgate Supply Chain, Technology, Marketing and Finance functions to enforce Purchasing policies, resolves issues, aligns service and financial strategies

 

  • Ensures new products are executed effectively together with New Product launch teams,

 

  • Contributes to local Funding the Growth Programs

 

  • Leverages SAP in day-to-day function, including entering prices into the system (where responsible)

 

  • Executes efforts in using “e-tools” (auctions, e-Savings, etc.) to help drive Funding the Growth, simplification and standardization programs

 

  • Accountable for adhering to Colgate-Palmolive, and governmental guidelines related to EOHS, Quality, and Regulatory for materials of responsibility. Develops awareness, and influences compliance with local government laws and regulations pertaining to materials.

 
 
Job Qualifications ;
 

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Technical or Business field

 

  • Experience in Project Management will be advantaged

 

  • Working experience in manufacturing business 

 

  • Proactive, Initiative, good analytical, interpersonal & communication skills

 

  • Experience in vendor evaluations and action planning

 

  • Strong negotiation skills

 

  • Good command of both spoken & written English

 

  • Mobility to Chonburi plant and other Colgate subsidiaries
