eCommerce Merchandiser

Currently, we’re looking for an eCommerce Merchandiser within our successful subsidiary located in Weesp (part of Amsterdam), the Netherlands.

In your role as the eCommerce Merchandiser, you will focus on improving the online execution and performance of our brands with additional responsibilities over time to provide strategic eCommerce advice for our key retailers. You play a central role within the Commercial team and will work in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
 

What you’ll do

Improving online execution & performance of our brands 

  • Ensuring the execution of optimized (premium) online content using our PIM system (Stibo) and content management system (ProductsUP, 1WorldSync). 

  • Ensuring the optimal execution and evaluation of retail media campaigns together with our agency Wavemaker 

  • Building a good relationship and plan with our E- Merchandiser at AS Watson

  • Building a good relationship with our marketing and sales teams to keep Ecommerce top of mind

  • Coordination of online review campaigns

 

Over time: building and executing strategic eCommerce Growth Plans with our customers

  • With the help of insights and data (Nielsen, Profitero, Similarweb) track performance and develop data driven recommendations (i.e. on navigation, search, promotion, assortment) to our key customers

  • Develop yearly growth plans for our key customers

  • Align our performance and strategy with our Management Team, European Online Acceleration Center and Global Digital Organization

  • Continuously look for innovative ways to engage and present our recommendations to grow in this relatively new channel

 

To ultimately increase (a) penetration of our brands (b) basket size of our shoppers and (c) loyalty of our consumers

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent required

  • 2-3 years of digital marketing, content management and analytics experience or commercial experience at an FMCG company

  • Agile mindset, able & willing to constantly adapt to changing realities

  • Fluent in Dutch and English 

  • Strong communication skills

  • Curious to understand the dynamics of eCommerce

  • Structured, accurate and efficient in managing and delivering reliable data
