Retail Marketing Leader is a key role within Kazakhstan organization, connecting and bringing together the country sales team and hub/central marketing team acting as a bridge between the two and is a strategic figure in adapting Global strategies in the local market, through managing a team of category managers and building effective partnership with CD Team Leaders and Hub/Central marketing and Retail Marketing teams, as well as CS&L teams.

 

Core responsibilities

  • Develop local RE strategy and 7Ps execution plans inline with Divisional strategies
  • Strengthen Retail Marketing team capabilities in Shopper insights,  7Ps fundamentals & analytics to drive quality decisions
  • Drive alignment, communication and execution with excellence of key Retail Marketing/ Marketing/ Commercial initiatives within Kazakhstan
  • Control efficiency of GtN spend to drive NS growth
  • Lead NPL process
  • Build RGM mindset within the organization

 

Job Tasks

  • Develop and execute 7Ps strategy by RE & Introduce Shopper Solutions
  • Lead and implement TPR strategy and GtN control discipline 
  • Lead and support all commercial business processes in the organization including monthly commercial business planning initiatives, Annual Commercial Planning, New Products Go-to-Market
  • Manage Annual TRetail Marketing Budget
  • Lead Kazakhstan RGM
  • Roll-out in Kazakhstan global Initiative, designed to elevate significantly engagement level with Top Customers
  • People management (team of 4 direct reporters)
  • Identification of Consumer promos, objectives, execution plans to drive NS and market share
  • 12M Grid management – Modern Trade & Traditional Trade
  • GTN planning & control
  • Prioritize Retail Environments (RE) for ISAs / promo activities
  • Align and approve Tasks to do (KPIs for the month) by REs to field teams
  • Participate in Key Customer negotiations
  • Lead New Product Launches (NPLs)
  • Build processes to gain RE insights leading to building RE strategy
  • Build ROI evaluation capabilities at activity levels
  • Recommend changes in grids/activities based upon learnings/insights
  • Own all field team promotion activities & results. Modify based on learnings/insights
  • Effectively lead local Retail Marketing Review (SRMM) meeting & participate in HUB-level RM meetings
