The purpose of the job is to provide support to the lab chemists by completing quality-related tasks in respect to sampling, recording and organizing data. Meet objectives established to achieve Key Performance Indicators and fulfill internal and external regulatory requirements.  Continuously improve processes and procedures to further quality initiatives across the facility. 


Main Responsibilities:


Perform daily sampling of hourly microbiological samples to support timely release of product

Organize data and results to facilitate timely release of product in compliance with the corporate positive release program

Facilitate the purchase of supplies and materials to maintain efficient operation

Ensure proper documentation of lab verification procedures

Maintain reference sample product library for all diets produced

Identify and report Food Safety issues to management. Understand and comply with Hill’s policies, safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety


Education/ Experience Requirements


  • Basic qualifications include:  High School diploma or equivalent. Technical/Vocational School certificate or Associates degree in related field highly preferred.

  • Independent and Team work capabilities
