Job Title:  Business Analyst (ITT)

Location: Prague (Work permit required)

 

Job Summary

The ITT Coordinator will provide consistent, reliable and on-time sales and business analysis to the management team to effectively support the decision making process by markets and brands. The periodic business tracking is required to create meaningful insights towards the identification of business growth drivers as well as business opportunities and risks against the budget/latest estimates.

 

The analyst plays also a critical role to ensure the successful on-boarding of distributors, maintenance of ITT tool and engagement with Commercial Team within participating countries to ensure tool utilization.

 

It is also responsible for maintaining accurate and timely commercial master data and adequate functioning of the Sales Information system tools needed for reporting.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

MANAGEMENT OF ITT AND ANY OTHER REPORTING TOOL (20%)

  • Engagement: Partner with Customer Development to engage Distributors with ITT to secure data in required format. Participate in kick-off meetings with Business Development Manager/Distributor Manager
  • Assess Readiness: Data availability and willingness to share, Systems Assessment – ability to convert data to required format, level of cooperation
  • Project Management: Prepare/lead meetings to secure data in required format with key contacts. Ongoing engagement with the whole team (e.g. Key decision makers, IT). Review txt files from Distributor to ensure it meets required formats, identify key actions required by Distributor to adjust files. Follow–up and timeline management to keep project initiation a priority.
  • Testing & Activation: Load txt files into BW Test system and conduct required sprint testing.  Load data history files upon successful transfer to production
  • Ensure ITT functionality and usage within country/region, ensuring accurate and complete information
  • Coordinate process with distributors to send the ITT information (e.g. customer type classification, Hill’s product code, ITT parameters)
  • Ensure an automated and continuously process for the transmission of the ITT transaction txt files from Distributors on a pre-set delivery schedule
  • Load transaction file data based on agreed data receipt schedule, trouble-shoot as required
  • Partner with Retail Marketing to identify mandated assortment list by retail environment for Mandated assortment reporting and load into ITT, review annually (minimum). Partner with GIT to implement new templates/tools within country/region

 

DRIVE COMMERCIAL ENGAGEMENT OF ITT / SO reporting (25%)

  • Partner with Commercial Team to identify business issues and utilize ITT/SO reporting to identify opportunities.  Share key wins and insights with Management and Commercial Teams
  • Lead training sessions for local country/region for use of BI Web reports, BI Excel Dashboard and ITT Analytics – Qlikview Maintain calendar or any other tool that the company will choose for sales tracking
  • Partner with Distributor to deliver requested standardized reporting
  • Participate in Global Business Network meetings to share best practices
  • Increase and encourage ITT usage by implementing ITT Tool with key Distributors by increasing its business coverage

 

SALES OUT AND BUSINESS REPORTING (25%)

  • Ensure consistent and reliable monthly sales reporting to the management and commercial teams and provide gap analyses versus budget/Last Estimates. Present numbers in the monthly management meeting.
  • Prepare thorough analyzes of the customer/product/brand mix, highlight opportunities and risks

 

CZ&SK ITT (20%)

  • Effective cooperation with external agency DBM
  • Support data alignment between ITT and CRM
  • Review and improve data quality
  • Effective communication with customers to get required data in proper form and on time
  • Encourage local sales team to use data in an effective way

 

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (10%)

  • Ensure accurate monthly commercial data in Sales Information application and adequate support to the sales teams. Ensure at all times accurate customer/product master data and timely processing of the sales information in the Sales Information System
  • Good understanding of Hill’s products and sales reporting, as well as of Hill’s distributor engagement and key personnel (Hill’s & Distributor)

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in Analytics, working together with commercial team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance  
  • Experience in FMCG Company desirable

 

Expected Areas of Skills

  • Highly proficient in MS Office Packages (Excel & Access data bases) and BI driven platforms in order to build financial plans/reporting
  • Strong planning & priority setting. Capable of delivering high quality and accurate work while respecting short lead times.
  • Overall business understanding & perspective. Able to be a true business partner to the commercial functions. Adequate customer focus. Flexible attitude.
  • Ownership & Initiative to drive & ensure optimal business tracking & understanding throughout the company.
  • Work independently and show initiative to improve current reporting.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Bilingual: proficiency in English is a must.
