Job Summary


Brand Manager eCommerce position is key to lead eCommerce business development across CEEME markets, for both Direct and Indirect. This role guides and counsels local teams on ecomm retail environment and 6P implementation with key customers on how to leverage all the digital assets provided by Hill’s to drive Hill’s brand awareness, trial and loyalty via Transforming Lives content. Reports to Marketing Manager.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities





  • Drives global/regional eCom strategy execution internally and with distributor partners.
    • Participate in developing the CEEME eCom strategy
    • Works closely with local teams to monitor eCom channel development, assess new customer opportunities and align on customer prioritization
    • Provides guidance to local teams for effective retail environment implementation, especially supports Direct/Indirect Business in JBP development and implementation with local eRetailers.
    • Channel KPI monitoring & follow ups as a part of CEEME CBP process
    • Provides CEEME insights to regional/global eCom team


  • Helps to dentify local growth opportunities through 6P strategy implementation
    • Assesses opportunities to improve shopping experience and align with Direct/Indirect Business stakeholders (and external customers)
    • Provides ongoing guidance to local teams to ensure optimum execution of the agreed e-shopper programs
    • Monitors and assesses progress against the 6p's and strategic gaps vs. overall brand strategy (e.g. monitor pricing, assortment, promotional depth & frequency, sizing) and work with CDM/Distributors to optimize 6Ps
    • Monitors results of Hill’s activation and assess ROI and opportunities for improvement


  • Collaborates with Marketing / Digital Marketing team to ensure the delivery and execution of the best content for our brands on ecommerce sites (both base business and NP), including:
    • Product images
    • Product page content (descriptions, videos, etc.)
    • Brand pages
    • CRM content (targeted e-mail content)
    • Educational content
  • Develops shopper marketing solutions for country specific needs (on top of regionally developed bundles)


  • Develops Distributors know-how in eCommerce, enhancing competencies across CEEME
    • Conducts regular virtual meetings with Indirect Business teams to share learning and best practices
    • Participates in country 121 calls/visits
    • Ensures successful tactics and e-shopper programs are leveraged by other CEEME/EU countries.

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent required
  • 5+ years combined experience in ecommerce and marketing / retail marketing or digital marketing
  • Passionate about digital and eCommerce / knowledge and proficiency in eCom and social platforms

  • Digitally savvy and curious, understand the dynamics of eCommerce
  • Uses shopper and consumer insights to develop e-shopper programs
