Job Summary:

 

The eComm Engagement Manager is responsible for the overall management of the eComm Marketing part – including the e-shop GER. This includes the ongoing development and implementation of the Hill´s e-Shop portal – including end-2-end responsibility, encompassing consumer and customer focus and dedication to drive penetration and loyalty. On top the eComm Engagement Manager is the marketing counterpart for the eComm Key Account Manager, ensuring that we are leveraging Hills eComm communication and tools to the next level together with our local eComm customers.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for development and execution of e-Shop front-end design and functionalities with our external partner, as well as communication messages incl. effective communication with all internal interfaces (International functions, brand MKT, Veterinarian Affairs, Customer Development etc.)
  • Responsible to steer/coordinate all necessary e-Shop back-end developments and implementations, together with CS&L team
  • Development and implementation of activities/functionalities to drive (a) penetration and (b) loyalty of e-Shop amongst both target groups: clinics and pet parents
  • Workflow optimization of e-Shop content management activities and utilization of synergies between online and offline-channels, project driven execution of all activities ensuring continuous improvement
  • Ensure e-Shop pricing strategy is competitive vs. pricing of other Res (on-/offline) incl. development and execution of counter activities if not
  • Briefing of agencies and monitoring / approval of content, including quality check of all e-Shop content
  • Be the e-Shop expert for the whole organization, also responsible to further develop e-Shop engagement within all functions
  • Development, analysis and reporting of KPIs, monthly tracking and end of the year evaluation
  • Providing pro-active recommendations based on analysis to further drive the business.
  • Evaluation and set-up of management proposal for future growth opportunities (within GER as well as roll-out to other countries)
  • Manage overall DACH budget and projections.  Responsible for coordinating budget cuts, and planned or ad-hoc Corporate requests.

 

Education/ Experience Requirements

Basic qualifications include: 

  • Bachelor degree
  • 3-4 years’ experience with digital marketing, content management
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office - specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Fluent in English and German

 

Preferred qualifications include: 

  • CRM / online-platform management experience

 

Expected Areas of Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEO, content-management-applications, web-applications, analysis-tools, photoshop, HTML and MS-Office
  • Project management knowledge and ability to manage ambiguity
