POSITION TITLE: Brand Manager 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall, the Brand Manager is responsible for managing all brand buidling and commercial initiatives assigned subcategory /sub-brand .

Works with cross category team to understand local consumer insights to build and excute both IMC and commercial plans that deliver net sales growth

Cooperates with Division Category teams to finalize the programmes for the category.

Leads integration of the countries and other functions needs and confirming with them the details of the commercial activity plans. 

Leverages knowledge of market dynamics, consumers & shoppers, competitors to enhance competitiveness and accelerate business growth for the assigned subcategories.

Leads business and brand analytics to identify issues / opportunites for his / her sub-category / brand

Helps lead his/her specific category in the Commercial Business Planning (CBP) across CPM markets

Coordinates the implementation of the overall category & brand strategies agreed with  Division, including 5P guidelines to achieve/exceed market share & financial objectives. 

Leads Go-to-Market planning along with Retail Marketing

Works with Insights & Research team on preparing the actionable recommendations to address ongoing business CPM challenges.

Develops the hub/sub new product launch plans.

Works with media and other agencies

Actively communicates with local markets, providing comments and feedback to specific plans developed by local RM:

-      hub/sub brand activation concepts for new product launches / line extension

-      adaptation of CPM shopper marketing programs (RE & specific customers)

-      the new category demand program concepts including cross-category platforms

-      RE and customer collaboration specific program concepts  

LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISION:

No direct reports

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Budget management

Keep track of project delieverables & ensure delivery according to agreed timelines

Liaise with agency partners on campaign planning & execution

 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 4 Years of Consumer Goods Industry Experience

Minimum 4 Years of Functional Experience

 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

: Should have managed brands in a commercial marketing team
