Principal duties and responsabilities:

 

• Work collaboratively with Category Development Managers to analyze data, assemble presentations and/or planograms.

• Support the Category Management team by providing syndicated data support and data analysis using Nielsen, Homescan Panel, Spectra, IRI , Sequoya, FeatureVision and customer information/shopper databases.

• Demonstrate understanding of category brand strategies; product, pricing, placement, promotion.

• Conduct retail store audits to troubleshoot problems and monitor competitive activity.

• Participate in the Account Planning process and assist with the development of account plans that profitably increase customer volume and Colgate market share by providing balanced promotional and baseline analysis.

• Develop and deliver account presentations relative to new items, share of shelf, and/or efficient

assortment.

• Assist in the development of customer planograms and merchandising proposals.

• Gain proficiency in the analytical tools and resources available.

• Analyze shopper and consumer information and develop recommended actions based on insight.

 

Basic Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 2+ years of work experience in an analityc-driven position

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint are required

 

Preferred Requirements:

 

• Experienced in CPG (consumer packaged goods) or similar industry

• 1-2 years of syndicated data analysis in CPG industry experience preferred

• Strong working knowledge of syndicated data reporting tools preferred

• Consumer insight experience a plus
