Colgate-Palmolive welcome's applicants for the role of Assistant Manager, Community Oral Health. This role plays a vital part in achieving Company goals to make meaningful partnerships that will enable and empower children to practice good oral health and reduce the prevalence of dental caries worldwide.  

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implement on the ground strategy for the Bright Smiles Bright Futures (BSBF) oral health community  and added-value business initiatives in the  United States.
  • Identify, develop and maintain BSBF Mobile Dental Van Unit partnerships within public/private and community organizations in primary and secondary markets. 
  • Oversee execution and implementation of BSBF programmatic activities on the ground. Work closely with external BSBF Team (coordinators and third party staff) and internal Colgate service partners, programs and agencies to deliver program activities.
  • Report, analyze and monitor BSBF activity and results to maintain maximum productivity of BSBF teams’ effectiveness and market coverage, includes BSBF project progress, best practices, program successes, setbacks and failures.
  • Support and assist with volunteer management; recruitment, communication and incentive programs.
  • Support implementation of strategic business programs with internal partners, i.e., US Oral Care, Multicultural marketing, Customer Development and Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, etc.
  • Manage and track existing and potential BSBF clients/ customers regarding BSBF requests and program activities.
  • Support BSBF online and digital activities—post content, promote BSBF activities, handle inquiries and coordinate with other company social media channels to help drive awareness and amplify BSBF social media activities.

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 6 Years of Consumer Goods Industry Experience  in sales or targeted marketing; or
  • 6 years of public relations experience with public relations firm or corporation
  • Proven success in managing/coordinating multiple events and building/maintaining key relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

Skills and Competencies Required

  • Strong Community Outreach and Event Management  Skills. Planning and Priority Setting is essential
  • Project Management - Develop plans for projects/maintain timetables; Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills with focus on Teamwork and Collaboration. Ability to communicate BSBF objectives and goals of children's outreach programs to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and willingness to work flexible hours
  • Strong problem-solving skills and Effective Execution
  • Consumer/Customer Focused with solid business perspective to make fact-based decisions with consideration to the impact on Colgate's image with the community and profession
