Scope of Responsibility:

The Individual in this position will work closely with Global EOHS Product Sustainability team to support completion of Product Sustainability Scorecards.

Product Sustainability

  • Collect required data from existing functional databases for Product Scorecard completion (150 + scorecards annually).
  • Gain knowledge in information contained in databases for Packaging, Procurement, Label Design & others to facilitate Scorecard data compilation.
  • Develop relationships and partner across Function, Category and Division
  • Participate in Product Sustainability product teams in the completion of the Product Sustainability Scorecard, as necessary.
  • Possess skill and knowledge to use databases to evaluate products and ingredients for environmental profile, human health effects and occupational and safety influences.
  • Conduct analytics on scorecard results, to support organizational learning..
  • Conduct ingredient environmental evaluations.

 

Education:

 

▪ A minimum of a Masters in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Sustainability or comparable discipline is required.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience
  • Applicant should have strong project management skills working across disciplines and functions with individuals which do not have direct reporting responsibility.
  • Strong aptitude for computers with experience working in SAP, Excel and regulatory databases.
  •  Exhibit good written and verbal skills as well as analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit ability to work independently, as well as exhibit team building skills.
  • Understanding a complex organization
  • Highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic
  • Self-starter
  • Leads time well
  • This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledgeable in raw materials used in consumer products preferred.
  • Experience in chemical risk/hazard assessment preferred.
