The General Services - Benefits Intern is responsible for supporting the activities of the Administrative Services department. This involves managing operational benefits for the manufacturing plants, as well as supporting the calendar and engagement initiatives related to the daily employee experience. The intern will follow the proposed agenda, operate within internal protocols, and handle all department-related payments under management supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payment Processing & Control: Manage payment processes and controls for the Administrative Services department, adhering to the monthly vendor schedule as well as handling ad-hoc requests.

  • Store Operations & Communication: Execute, under supervision, the monthly calendar for the Via Anchieta and Jaguaré company stores, and handle communications to bring new action-oriented opportunities to the team.

  • Onboarding: Take responsibility for the bi-weekly onboarding of new employees and interns regarding operational benefits.

  • Committees: Join the Diversity Committee and CWN (Colgate Women's Network) to support initiatives across the manufacturing units.

  • Team Support & Daily Routines: Support the tracking and development of Young Apprentices and individuals with intellectual disabilities within Administrative Services, aiming to improve department activities. This also includes conducting daily rounds, assisting vendors when necessary, and managing the dedicated motorcycle courier services.

  • Employee Customer Service: Assist employees regarding operational benefits managed by the department (e.g., Corporate Shuttle, Public Transportation Vouchers, Grocery Baskets, and Holiday Celebrations).

  • Engagement Initiatives: Support the execution and communication of the Power of We engagement calendar across E2E plants, creating new opportunities throughout the year (e.g., Colgate Family, Holiday Celebrations, Pride to Be CP, EMEO, among others).

Position Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels.

  • Teamwork & Accountability: A strong sense of responsibility and a collaborative mindset.

  • Education: Currently studying Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Previous experience with Google Sheets and Google Slides.
