Role Summary

The Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring reliability and high-quality standards across operations by rigorously executing established Quality Inspection Systems (SPI). This position focuses on the precise testing, execution, and interpretation of technical results to support article code manufacturing. A key challenge and opportunity for this role will be driving digital transformation initiatives, using tools and data analytics to automate quality records, eliminate paper dependencies on the shop floor, and optimize overall process efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing & Inspection Execution: Perform, interpret, and document quality control testing on manufacturing lines and article codes according to technical procedures and Master Quality Plans.

  • Data & Systems Management: Capture and manage operational quality metrics accurately across core digital platforms, including SAP, LIMS, and Opera.

  • Statistical Process Control: Apply basic statistics and interpret control charts/graphs (using Minitab) to identify trends, isolate variances, and support technical decision-making.

  • Certification & Reporting: Complete official quality registrations, identify appropriate funding allocations per internal guidelines, and generate compliance reports and Quality Certificates.

  • Operational Excellence (FP&R): Apply Factory Performance and Reliability (FP&R) standards to daily workflows, ensuring full alignment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Digital Transformation: Actively promote continuous improvement by developing automation strategies to digitize quality logs and move towards a fully paperless operation.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.

  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in quality control operations, including tracking quality indexes and supporting innovation/quality projects.

  • Software & Platforms: Proficiency in SAP, Minitab, and Google Workspace tools.

  • Languages: Intermediate-Advanced English proficiency (essential for reading and interpreting global technical procedures).

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Digitalization Platforms: Familiarity or prior experience using Augmentir (or similar digital platforms for standard work and digital logs).

  • Automation Mindset: Proven drive and capability to digitize processes and implement automated systems to reduce physical paper usage.

  • Soft Skills: High motivation ("ganas de trabajar"), proactive learning attitude, and strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with diverse operational teams.
