Role Summary

As a Sales Executive for the Modern Channel you will represent Colgate-Palmolive by building trust-based client relationships, executing the 7Ps strategy, and implementing Joint Business Plans (JBP) to increase sales, market share, and omnichannel presence profitably while maintaining portfolio health.

 

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Strategy & JBPs: Develop, negotiate, and execute 5P strategies and Joint Business Plans to achieve sales, margin, and distribution targets within budget.
  • Client Relationship & Portfolio Management: Maintain proactive communication, participate in Top-to-Top meetings, and oversee account administration (credit policies, rebates, and current account health).
  • Trade Execution & Inventory: Conduct field visits to identify opportunities, track competitor activity, and optimize inventory levels (Days on Hand) and promotional displays.
  • Analytics & Decision-Making: Analyze trade statistics and insights to build high-impact promotional plans, accurate sales forecasts, and growth strategies.
  • Field Alignment & Leadership: Communicate plans to in-store field teams, provide clear direction and timely feedback, and drive continuous improvement.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years in Sales or Trade Marketing roles within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry

  • Excel proficiency for data analysis

  • Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)

  • Driver’s License

  • Strong negotiation skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP, Google Workspace and IA tools
  • Experience with Modern Trade
