Regional Treasury Back Office Analyst

Location: Mexico City

Reports to: Regional Treasury Manager

 

 

Role Summary

 

Are you ready to drive financial integrity and process innovation for a global leader? As our Regional Treasury Back Office Analyst, you will serve as a key driver of operational excellence, control, and compliance across the LATAM division and its subsidiaries. Sitting within our dynamic regional ecosystem, you will spearhead the execution of critical treasury transactions, daily cash positioning, and rigorous bank account management (BAM). This role is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking professional looking to lead digitalization initiatives, mitigate corporate risk, and optimize working capital in a high-impact environment.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Cash & Liquidity Management: Direct the daily cash positioning and synchronize cash inflows and outflows with cross-functional partners across payroll, tax, P2P, and C2C.

  • Cash Forecasting & Analytics: Consolidate short-term cash flow forecasts and deliver precise forecast-versus-actual variance analyses to maximize working capital efficiency.

  • Transaction Execution: Validate, confirm, and execute the settlement of foreign exchange (FX) transactions, investments, corporate loans, and complex cross-border payments.

  • Bank Account Management & SOX Compliance: Control the end-to-end BAM process, including account lifecycles, portal user reviews, signatory updates, and the execution of critical SOX testing controls.

  • Audit & Reporting Support: Oversee Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, manage legal banking documentation, and compile data to substantiate internal/external tax audits and annual 10-K disclosures.

  • System Configuration: Coordinate and implement the technical setup of new bank accounts within SAP and digital banking platforms while resolving internal requests via Creatio.

 

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

  • 2+ years of direct experience in corporate treasury, banking, or accounting environments.

  • Intermediate-to-Advanced professional English proficiency (written and verbal).

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Technological Fluency: Hands-on working knowledge of SAP, SAP FIORI, and the SAP Treasury module.

  • Advanced Systems & Automation: Mastery of Advanced Excel and the Google Suite, with a demonstrated passion for continuous process improvement and manual task automation.

  • Language Skills: Professional proficiency in Portuguese is highly desirable.

  • Core Competencies: Strong financial acumen, rigorous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset tailored for a fast-paced regional team.
