The Experience

What role will you play:

 

  • The Omni Channel Area Manager is responsible for achieving Sales targets in the Central & Southern Regions through excellence in execution in store and online. They must develop and support the partnership between CP and the customer at store level and online by nurturing strong contracts and negotiations. They provide feedback and find opportunities in-store and online which allows rapid revision of Commercial strategies.
  • This role is also responsible for leading the digital transformation in the field sales team by building the capability of both the team and the customers to more effectively manage the growing digital commerce environment. They will also help identify and roll out training tools and processes to better connect digitally with customers and drive efficiency in store servicing.
  • The Omni Channel Area Manager is responsible for the coaching and development of the Central & Southern Field Team to drive consistency and excellence in execution

 

Who are you

 

  • You connect the dots- It is crucial to have a pulse on the big picture to identify areas of opportunity for products and programs, develop Customer Marketing strategies that incorporate consumer insights, and have an awareness of competitor activity to build promotional strategies.
  • You are a collaborator- In this role, you’ll establish partnerships with multiple parties including internal cross-functional teams, brokers, and the customer retail team. These relationships thrive on mutual trust and integrity to achieve deliverables and execute against the strategy and goals.
  • You are an innovator- You will look for opportunities to improve and seek creative solutions. Your ability to adapt and adjust the strategy with the customer, revisit objectives and gain insights from pre and post evaluation and return on investment analyses to ultimately incorporate learning into the strategic direction is essential.
  • You are curious- It’s important to understand business trends in each account through fact-based analysis to include brand share, pricing, promotion levels, and trade class development along with understanding the efficiency of different investment levers. You’re curious about what works and what does not so that we can work together to refine customer tactics.
  • You are digitally savvy - Enjoy seeking out and learning about new technology, and how it can drive the business further. You are passionate about sharing your knowledge and motivating change within the organisation and your team to ensure we are improving our presence and ahead of the evolving consumer/retail landscape. The future is AI/digital.

 

What you’ll need..

 

  • Appropriate FMCG experience
  • Appropriate Tertiary qualification
  • Experience working with customers both in store and regarding their Digital/eCommerce presence
  • Comfortable driving change and supporting the team to embrace digital transformation
