The Demand Planning Team Leader will be responsible for managing all activities to develop, align, & communicate the demand plan for subsidiaries, in line with End to End strategy, leveraging new tools and analytics.

RESPONISIBILITIES:

Drive simplification in planning, standardization of planning approach, processes efficiency.

Lead initiatives, implement E2E tools and analytics and support pilots which involve demand planning.

Manage directly 2 Demand Planners and close interaction with other Demand Planners from CEE region in the area of Oral Care Category.

Driving improvement CEE Oral Care Category Demand Plan and Demand & Supply synchronization processes.

Inventory and slob management.
-
Build Collaborative Demand Plan – Interact with commercial teams to gather customer plans & other demand inputs, gain alignment and document key assumptions. Keep demand planning integrated with the business planning process.

Review Demand Plan - Participate in the monthly discipline process to validate company plans, identify demand related exceptions, monitor sales vs forecast performance. Gaps and opportunities are identified, quantified and addressed.

Synchronize Supply & Demand - Ensure alignment of final demand plan to supply plan. Identify and ensure communication of supply risks/opportunities/constraints, potential solutions to avoid service related issues or inventory consequences and impact on “unconstrained demand plan”.

Communicate and Manage Demand. Facilitate Fast Track process.

Measure & Track Performance. Drive improvement of demand planning KPIs and processes.
For case fill, identify the source of issues and propose solutions to avoid it.

Support New Product Planning & Life Cycle Planning
Work cross functionally to finalize pipeline volume & first 6 months of demand for new products. Track/measure actual shipments vs. documented key assumptions. Collaborate with a cross functional team to manage & communicate SKU performance and life cycle changes.

Monitor SKU complexity and support portfolio rationalization/ simplification.
PROFILE:
-
5+ years’ experience of Demand Planning in Consumer Goods or in Manufacturing or Supply Network Planning

People management & leadership skills or experience in leading large projects.

Capability to build credibility with stakeholders and work effectively with multi-discipline teams
-
Ability to motivate others to deliver high performance
-
Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
-
Understanding Supply Chain metrics and interdependencies between them
-
Experienced in utilization of APO system for statistical forecasting and demand planning
-
Strong organizational and planning skills and continues improvement focus
-
Strong communication skills
-
Fluent English
