The Commercial Planning Junior Manager is responsible for leading the Commercial Planning Process for assigned categories and supporting the whole Commercial Planning Process and Customer Engagement by maximizing the principles, practices and tools in Poland and applying it externally, working collaboratively with customers. This role required cross-functional collaboration with Customer Development/ Consumer Experience / InSights to ensure alignment and execution against the category and brand strategies  by coordinating Growth Planning Solution process with customers and providing the tools required to define, deploy and track the 5Ps and shopper solutions for the category.



  • Lead and support Customer Engagement. Co-leads with the Customer Development Team the Joint Business plan matrix, workshops and manages the strategies to have mutual growth with our customers.

  • Manage and lead RE and 5P’s strategies by category to increase demand and trade support to accelerate sales and address gaps for key customers based on brand and category performance (Growth Planning Solution process).

  • Implements the assigned activity grid and new product Go to Market for the category that is developed by Consumer Experience to support execute the plans for CD Team.

  • Lead and support also the  monthly discipline process for a particular category.

  • Use the latest information systems and business analytical tools  (Nielsen, GfK, Sesta, Hipercom, InSights, Customer data) to lead decision-making processes.

  • Share category knowledge internally/externally (build local Category and brand knowledge taking advantage of global categories and add local insights).

  • Conduct and manage sale conference organization, head office events and customer newsletters.

  • Communicating with the trade at the implementation phase, ensuring that account needs are addressed.

  • Participating on at least one store check per month & one meeting with customer per quartile, participation in the category dedicated workshops with customers, delivery of presentations on the key category initiatives to the strategic customers.

  • Performing all the Manager’s requests related to area of responsibility.


Competencies & Experiences Required:

  • University degree, preferably in Economics
  • Fluency in Polish and English
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience within FMCG. Working experience from CatMan/ RCD is a plus
  • Good practical knowledge of business analytical tools (Nielsen/ GfK; planogram tools will be an asset)
  • Strong analytical mindset and highly structured
  • Advanced interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools with emphasis on MS Excel, knowledge of Google tools will be an asset
  • Passion for driving and growing a business
  • Commercial and business common sense
