JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinate flawless development, implementation and commercialization of specialty packaging and display products in cooperation with external co-packer(s).
To supervise the contract packing process for the CEE region ensuring that activities are completed on schedule and within budget. 
Support the company’s strategy for customization initiatives.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead new local co-packing projects from development to execution, control timeline to deliver required availability date.
  • Closely work with 3PL in three main areas, namely co-packing processes, planning & capacity management (short/mid/long term) and effective packaging material supply/coverage. 
  • Raise critical design, cost, quality, handling, and delivery time frame issues with the commercial team and implement potential alternatives.
  • Manage packaging material vendor selection and optimize service cost, minimum effective lot sizes and lead-time. Cooperate with vendors and Indirect Procurement.
  • Manage activities in SAP/ incl APO functionalities involving the development of technical specification and quality bundle book creation.
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators: Fill Rate for co-packing SKUs, cost, inventory coverage.
  • Champion and drive co-packing analytics development. Preparation of a co-packing cost report.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Level of Education:

  • degree in Logistics: focus on supply chain management, production logistics, logistics management, processes and projects, analytics

Experience:

  • day to day job experience with managing co-packing projects, planning & capacity management, packaging material supply
  • in-market experience with a company in FMCG industry 
  • experience with cross functional teams and day to day interaction with different functions is a plus

Functional Experience and Technical Skills:

  • high level of affinity and familiarity with supply chain management processes involving co-packing
  • knowledge of SAP, analysis tools, Google workspace environment
  • experience with reports and analytics is a plus, strong organizational and planning skills
  • excellent working knowledge of English (a must)
  • good communicator
