The Quality Compliance Leader directs conformance to the GMP/Quality standards and establishes a culture to enable the Villawood manufacturing site to deliver consistent, safe, and effective products.


Positive Release of Finished Goods is at the core of this position’s daily responsibility. A key requirement of this role is to maintain a comprehensive site documentation system, author and maintain the site Validation Master Plan, and ensure site-wide compliance to Colgate-Palmolive Global Quality Standards. This is a 12 month fixed term contract position. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Mock Recovery Audits
  • Conduct On-Shelf Quality Audits
  • Manage Customer and Consumer Complaints & Monitor Consumer Complaint trends and history. Ensures that all returned samples and adverse event complaints are fully investigated and documented
  • Manage the Site Annual Product Review and provide necessary compliance documentation and corrective action strategies for continuous improvement
  • Perform incoming/imported products inspection
  • Manage Internal & External Audits
  • Quality management of  Local and CBS (Specific to South Pacific) External Manufacturer
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) launches for External Manufacturing (EM) Home Care and CBS Oral Care Products (TGA and Medsafe Regulated products)
  • Manage development of quality technical agreements with suppliers
  • Supervision and management of Site Documentation system (This includes all documents vital to an internal or external inspections - SOP’s, Management of Change, Notices of Deviation, Batch Records, Non conformances, and Validations) 
  • Compile & complete product information to write bundle books
  • Conduct training to employees and contractors on Quality related courses
  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the manufacturing site Quality Plan to ensure compliance with both GMP’s and CP Global Quality Standards
  • Responsible for daily documentation authorizing product release and the execution of release procedure

 

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • 5+ years work experience in a GMP, TGA/FDA regulated industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with SAP, LIMS or similar integrated computerized systems
  • Supervisory experience
  • 2 years of experience completing Product Release documentation and finalApproval Experience in hosting/leading internal & external inspections
  • Knowledge of site wide documentation system, Product Release, and Batch record review
  • Must be familiar with and able to work with GMP compliant Failure Investigations
  • Corrective and Preventive Actions, and Notices of Deviation
  • Knowledge of Quality and Change Control Systems
  • Validation Experience (Process, Product, Equipment)
