We are seeking a motivated individual to join the Colgate-Palmolive Villawood Home Care manufacturing team on day shift (7am - 3pm).


The Manufacturing Team Member (MTM) is responsible for working in a team to successfully accomplish business objectives: 

 

  • Producing a range of Colgate products including Liquid Home Care and Fabric Conditioners 
  • Working safely according to Villawood principles and guidelines 
  • Identifying opportunities for Continuous Improvement 
  • Solving problems in the manufacturing environment 
  • Working in a team to achieve production targets 
  • Ensuring product meets all quality specifications 
  • Maintaining environmental standards in regard to the manufacture of Colgate product 

 

Essential Skills: 

  • Experience as a Machine Operator in FMCG
  • Ability to work in a technically advanced / automated manufacturing environment 
  • Problem solving and ability to respond efficiently to production breakdowns 
  • Communication (written and verbal) 
  • Ability to record and analyse basic production data 
  • Basic computer skills (Windows/Google applications) 
  • Teamwork/relationship building/collaboration skills

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Forklift License essential  
  • Trade Qualifications are highly regarded 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment/similar industry highly regarded
