Role Summary 

The Financial Analyst for the Cost area, ensures the overall accuracy and integrity of cost-related financial information, expense variances, inventory, and fixed assets. Sitting within the corporate Finance team and reporting to the Cost Coordinator, this role delivers high-quality analyses to support strategic business decisions across key product categories. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive real business impact by transforming complex financial data into actionable insights that optimize manufacturing costs and maintain corporate compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly financial close process for cost-related accounting, ensuring timely, accurate entry postings and adherence to local regulatory frameworks

  • Conduct deep-dive balance sheet and expense variance analyses (Actual vs. Budget) to uncover root causes of deviations and present critical trend insights to management

  • Manage monthly inventory reconciliations and track price and freight variances to minimize financial exposure and control cost deviations

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors to successfully execute compliance reviews for costs, inventory, and fixed assets

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver transparent cost-driver visibility, directly supporting significant business priorities and resource optimization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed

  • 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or general accounting (with a strong preference for multinational or manufacturing environments)

  • Basic to intermediate operational knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate English level

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven capability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Prior experience working within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry

  • Strong analytical functional competencies with an innate ability to infer strategic business insights from complex, raw financial datasets

  • Technical proficiency operating within SAP enterprise systems
