Supply Chain Analyst - Contract

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Analyst - Contract supports the customer service and supply strategy within Hill’s Canada, focusing on managing our new item setups while aligning forecasts between Hill's and our key accounts. Providing support to the local Customer Service & Logistics Manager while working as liaison with production and forecast teams in the US on daily operations and issue resolution.This role will be based out of our Toronto head office.

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

Project Management (40%)

  • Manage new item forecasting and setups
  • Ensure timelines are met and communicated throughout organization 
  • Investigates issues, determines root causes and together with the internal and external stakeholders

 

Customer Engagement/Customer Service Coordination (30%)

  • Engage with key customers on aspects on projects related to CS&L
  • Coordinate with MKT, CDO and CBS O2I the customer’s order forms update
  • Participate in LAM to align on shipments and forecasts

 

Forecasting (20%)

  • Drive forecast accuracy 
  • Align CDO & CS&L forecasts
  • Regularly review customer forecasts and look for opportunities to correct
  • Investigates issues, determines root causes and together with the Customer Service and Supply Chain Manager to develop solutions

 

Project Support (10%)

  • Provides business and testing support for key projects, system upgrades and new business opportunities
  • Continuous improvement projects

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • APICS certification preferred

 

Expected Areas of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient use of Google and Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Customer Service experience 
  • Ability to Multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communications skills (written/verbal)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills that fit a team and individual environment
  • Bi-lingual an asset
