Job Summary: As the Assistant Business Development Manager you will support the Go to Market process for Personal Care categories and the development of category strategy based on category analysis. You will work collaboratively with Hub Marketing and local Customer Development teams to coordinate commercial planning and new launch support initiatives.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop category analysis on share of market, distribution and competitive promotion
  • Work with the category BDM and customer teams to track CP and competitive promotional activity, adapt category promotion grids as needed, and identify opportunities / activities to drive growth
  • Support Commercial Planning Process by owning yearly planning guidelines and materials
  • Coordinate customer requirements on Sample Coordination and Displays 
  • Co-lead commercial assumptions for Q3’22 new item launches and new item approval
  • Work with Customer Teams to define and consolidate 2022 commercial plan updates to be shared with Canadian Sr Leadership Team
  • Support BDM with ad hoc requests


Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience


Expected areas of knowledge, skills & abilities

  • Analytical experience to conduct category assessment and identify opportunities; basic Nielsen and Numerator experience
  • Proven ability to multi-task across multiple projects
  • Ability to build good working relationships with Customer Development and Marketing Teams to drive strategy implementation and track performance
