This is an exciting opportunity for a second (or third) year veterinary student to experience life in a corporate in- house professional veterinary healthcare team by being part of the Hill’s global professional team based in Topeka, KS.
The Hill’s Global Professional Veterinary Affairs (GPVA) team leads the relationship with the veterinary profession in the world, in order to drive awareness of Hill’s vision, nutritional philosophy, brand, and products. GPVA employs a variety of veterinarians with expertise in clinical nutrition, surgery, internal medicine, and emergency & critical medicine. Interacting with all areas of the business GPVA provides advice and is the “voice of the profession.”
We are looking to you, as a motivated, high-performing second (or third) year veterinary school student who can contribute to our team here in Topeka and to the broader Hill’s business globally. You will be working on areas such as:

Networking with key Hill’s regional leads to identify training / educational needs;

Providing research assistance and helping update the training / educational materials identified (ie: Therapeutic Nutrition curriculum)

Assisting in developing the course assets utilizing current educational design principles while minimizing dedicated time away from field responsibilities

Helping to integrate a social media / digital strategy into the training materials to engage Hill’s employees worldwide and reinforce key learning objectives
You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Global Professional Engagement during your tenure. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Topeka team; observe interaction with other Global departments including marketing and customer development. You will also have exposure to veterinarians and veterinary technicians worldwide with a specific focus on Canada, Europe, Australia, South Africa,Latin America, and Japan. Salary Range $37.00 - $40.00 USD /hour
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
