Job Summary
 

This role is responsible for leading the efforts to grow Hill’s to Home sales with both the vet healthcare team (VHCT) and pet parents.  Key responsibilities include marketing plans to drive acquisition, usage and retention; budget and demand planning, and business analytics.
 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
 

Professional Acquisition, Activation & Retention 

 

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to drive clinic acquisition, activation and retention for Hill’s to Home.
  • Manage agency in developing professional IMC creative, content and assets, both on and off line.
  • Lead development of communications to the field team to drive Hill’s to Home growth, working closely with CDO, PVA, Retail Marketing and education teams.
  • Direct activity of in-field trainers to maximize their impact in activating and supporting new clinics in using Hill’s to Home.
  • Lead evolution and optimization of Hill’s to Home professional CRM journeys in partnership with CRM manager.

 

Pet Parent Acquisition & Retention

 

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to drive pet parent acquisition, basket size and retention for Hill’s to Home.
  • Manage agency in developing pet parent IMC creative, content and assets, both on and off line.
  • Lead evolution and optimization of Hill’s to Home pet parent CRM journeys in partnership with CRM manager.
     

Business Analytics

 

  • Partner with analytics team to improve and deepen Hill's to Home business analytics, including lifetime value, cost of acquisition, and churn metrics.
  • Optimize and maintain existing reporting and dashboards.
     

Budget / Demand Planning

 

  • Develop volume and net sales forecasts.
  • Manage advertising (A&P) and gross-to-net (GTN) budgets in partnership with the finance team.
  • Manage promo codes planning, execution, tracking, and optimization.
  • Manage POs and SOWs

Education/ Experience Requirements

 

  • Basic qualifications include:  BS/BA with 7+ years of experience in marketing with experience in developing promotional strategies, implementing plans, and analyzing for effectiveness
  • Preferred qualifications include: MBA, 4+ years of experience in CPG, pharmaceutical, or veterinary professions

 

Expected Areas of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 
 

  • Ability to work effectively across functions, channels, and categories to align priorities, solve problems, optimize resources, and drive effective execution
  • Strong analytical skills; able to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate level (or greater) Excel (including comfort with pivot tables & vlookups) & PowerPoint (slide design principles, animations)
  • Able to manage multiple projects, balancing many deliverables and timelines with an understanding of their relative priorities
