The Indirect Procurement Associate Sourcing Manager will lead the development of NA/Hill's Facilities sourcing strategies to optimize the total value of our IFM (Integrated Facilities Management) partners and non IFM partners. The Associate Sourcing Manager will support strategic negotiations and sourcing activities for Facilities within North America.

What you will do

  • Implement best in class global strategies and managing relationships and alliances with the leveraged suppliers so that they are in tune with developments and directions in Colgate business units.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, business and functional business partners, and suppliers to develop and monitor project plans to ensure sourcing projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Partner with vendors and business partners to develop/reevaluate risk mitigation plans
  • Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with our IFM partners and working with the entire supported function/business units
  • Participate in the development, negotiation and implementation of contract agreements with suppliers
  • Conduct competitive bidding processes
  • Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing and supplier innovation and efficiencies
  • Ensure organizational service, quality, sustainability, innovation, diversity, and financial goals are met
  • Gain comprehensive industry knowledge of best practices, processes, and technology trends to proactively adjust sourcing strategy
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering, or comparable discipline
  • At least 5 years working within the Supply Chain and/or a manufacturing facility
  • Strong Business Analysis- Utilizing digital tools when solving problems and making decisions. Analyze data to support recommendations
  • Strategic mindset - Understanding the difference between total value vs. cost saving when making decisions
  • Negotiation skills- Planning and anticipation, demonstrates professionalism in all business settings and shows ability to control emotions, mannerisms, and communication style
  • Teamwork and Relationship building- Being a team player when interacting with stakeholders and peers. Able to manage relationships at different levels of the organization
  • Must be able to formulate and proactively communicate strategies and sourcing process concepts
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and e-Procurement processes and tools

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing/negotiating 
    • Facilities management or integrated facilities management (IFM) suppliers, contract or programs
    • Capital equipment (CEB) or Original Equipment manufacturers (OEM) and plant automation suppliers and contracts
    • Manufacturing plant construction projects
    • Leasing contracts of machinery, equipment (e.g. fork lifts) or real estate/land
