The CS&L Analyst Intern for Hill's Pet Nutrition provides critical analysis to improve sales forecasting and planning by reviewing inventories, supply network, sales, and consumption. The role collaborates between Planning and Warehousing to ensure key performance indicators are maintained by providing critical analysis that includes reviewing inventory capacities, target days of supply, network modeling, customer trends, and consumption. The position strategizes to minimize service interruption and supports issue resolution. 


Principal Duties and Responsibilities


  • Benchmark performance through "best in class" reporting; implement best practices in Customer Service and Logistics to optimize supply network, inventory targets, planning and logistics efficiencies. 

  • Work with Customer Service & Logistics leadership to lead one key initiative to drive department continuous improvement and fund the growth 

  • Monitors performance metrics (KPI's) to understand service and efficiency trends and identify opportunities for improvement; share performance information to develop collaborative approaches to correct inefficiencies 

  • Develop analysis dashboards to provide measurement tools and indicators for service performance and planning/logistics efficiencies 

  • Support corporate projects and field activities to gain understand of cross functional collaboration with Commercial, Supply Chain and Customer Service and Logistics’ teams

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA

  • Have completed junior year by May of 2021

  • Graduate on or before May 2022

  • Degree focus in Business Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related degree program

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Google Dashboards, Google suite, Email 

  • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and ability to plan and prioritize
