The primary function will be to manage all training needs and requirements for plant employees. This includes maintaining, controlling and auditing training materials required for company and regulatory compliance. 




What you will do


 • Work with the Coordinating Team ensuring new hires and floor operations certification documents are updated and/or completed in a timely fashion. 

 • Continuously improve & manage onboarding & training schedule for New Hires. Maintain the local training process tool updated for Operations. 

 • Drive support of FP&R People Capabilities standards and initiatives, particularly On Boarding, Learning Plans and Skills Gap Assessment.

 • Build an annual demand planning training calendar & budget for all trainings including the global ones as VCP OGP, Code of Conduct, VCP LIA, OE Coaching & Feedback for Shop Floor. 

 • Work in conjunction with Global Learning teams to ensure uniformity and best practices are followed, including training logistics. 

 • Being the site Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator for HR, and supporting other site administrators in order to assure and maintain training materials updated in the Learning Management System for the facility. 

 • Provide regular reports on training progress to key company personnel and help determine training needs. 

 • Build and maintain SOP/SWIS training, and incorporating SpeachMe in training when appropriate. 

 • Performs other duties as assigned.

 • Complies with all policies and standards



Required Qualifications


 • High School Diploma 

 • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment  

 • At least 1 year prior experience with effectively training others 

 • Excellent written and oral communication skills  

 • Strong computer skills in the following programs: Microsoft Office Applications, Google Suite Applications

 • Excellent organizational and time management skills  

 • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including off-shift hours when needed

 • Practical knowledge of site wide documentation system management




Preferred Qualifications


 • Bachelor's Degree 

 • Technical writing proficiency  

 • Knowledge in HR training regulations, Continous Improvement and Factory Performance

 • Learning Management System Knowledge  

 • Strong interpersonal and communications skills  

 • Ability to develop and express ideas  

 • Responsive to changing business conditions and to employees training needs  

 • In depth knowledge of job requirements and training needs in Operations/Maintenance  

 • Demonstrated ability in the following core competencies: Results Oriented, Planning/Priority Setting, Communication, Technology Transfer, Computer Literacy  

 • Experience with SAP & Adobe Acrobat Physical Demands
