Position: Team Leader - Modern Trade

Responsible for formulating and executing comprehensive, customer-centric sales and 7Ps strategies for key accounts to capture strategic market opportunities and drive sustainable growth and  profitability. Additionally, the role entails establishing and cultivating high-level client relationships, managing end-to-end account planning and excellent execution to align with company objectives and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial & P&L Management: Manage total account P&L performance, optimize trade spend through an ROI-driven approach, and oversee accurate demand planning and sales forecasting. 

  • Strategic Leadership & Execution: Lead the sales team in translating top-down targets into rolling 12-month account plans within established sales and retailer management frameworks to drive commercial growth and satisfy consumer needs. 

  • Trade Terms & Joint Business Planning: Spearhead annual trade negotiations, enforce contractual compliance, and collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing to translate category strategies into high-ROI business plans. 

  • Commercial Analytics: Evaluate activity outcomes to extract actionable insights, embedding learnings into future customer strategies to maximize productivity. 

  • Operational & 7Ps Excellence: Monitor and optimize 7Ps performance, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver superior execution and win omni-shoppers. 

  • Customer Relationship Management: Drive high-level customer engagement and strategic alignment through regular monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews. 

  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Set clear and align team goals through structured reviews, and foster a high-performance culture through active coaching, IDP development, and career guidance. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher preferred in business related field

  • At least 7-8 years experiences in Hyper Market Key account Management

  • Proven track record in Sales Management with major retailers

  • Experience of influencing and engaging senior management in own and customer organizations

  • Experience of leading Sales Professionals

  • Analytical thinking: ability to categorize information to facilitate decision making and strategic planning; assimilate diverse information into usable, analyses both qualitative and quantitative data to provide insight and identify category opportunities.

  • Additional functional experience, preferably in Marketing, Trade Marketing and/or Finance is an advantage

  • Highly analytical and numeracy Skill

  • Fluent in English 

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong leadership to lead change and challenge status quotation.
