Role Summary: 

Member of the Andean Regional Tax team, responsible for ensuring tax compliance for the assigned local subsidiary, working closely with the Regional Tax Manager and the local tax advisor to meet all tax obligations, mitigate risks, and support business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the company meets its tax obligations and objectives in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, with the support of the local tax advisor.

  • Prepare and submit tax returns, transfer pricing reports, electronic filings, and monthly tax declarations.

  • Ensure that required reports are prepared and that accurate tax records are maintained on a timely basis.

  • Lead and coordinate support for tax audits, including the preparation of corporate reports and responses to information requests.

  • Prioritize and self-assign tasks to ensure effective use of resources and achievement of deadlines and performance targets.

  • Work closely with the Regional Tax Manager to identify tax planning opportunities and/or mitigate tax risks

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degre.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in an international tax firm and/or in a similar tax function within a company, preferably in the consumer goods / FMCG sector.

  • Lenguaje: upper-intermediate English

  • Qualified Public Accountant with solid experience in local tax legislation, including tax audits, local compliance, and tax reporting.

  • Good working knowledge of international taxation.
