JOB PURPOSE:
The Sourcing /Procurement Specialist, Indirect Procurement will handle primarily the Company’s indirect spend in Colgate (Philippines) Asia. Candidate will also handle spend in the various Supply, Demand, and Professional Categories (Business Operations, Warehousing and Logistics, Facilities, Customer Development, In-store Marketing)
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementing the global sourcing plans and strategies using Colgate-Palmolive's seven step sourcing process.
- Supporting Colgate's requirements for supported function/business units/category spend by selecting core and/or used suppliers which provide efficient cost, quality, and delivery.
- Implementing outstanding global strategies and manage relationships and alliances with the used suppliers so that they are in tune with developments and directions in Colgate business units.
- Analyzing internal and external data (markets, competitors, customers, operational models, etc.), to develop strategy, recommend solutions, identify improvements, and prepare final reports (spend data, prioritization of projects, PO data, etc.)
- Identifying, developing, and managing strategic business relationships, internally and externally, to ensure the alignment of sourcing strategies to meet business requirements
- Working collaboratively with team members, business and functional business partners, and suppliers to develop and supervise project plans to ensure sourcing projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Accountable for the Purchasing Key Performance Indicators and working with the entire supported function/business units.
- Ensuring organizational service, quality, innovation, and financial goals are met.
- Gaining comprehensive industry knowledge of standard methodologies, processes, and technology trends to proactively adjust sourcing strategy.
- Identifying metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing and supplier innovation and efficiencies.
- Participating in the development, negotiation and implementation of contract agreements with suppliers

EDUCATION AND FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or equivalent local university degree) in a technical or business field
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5+ years of Procurement Supply Chain related experience.
- Experience in Implementing Strategic Procurement sourcing Projects for the following: Supply Chain (warehouse, logistics, brokerage), Business Operations (labor, benefits, etc), IT Hardware, Facilities, Marketing (above the line and below the line).
