Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll champion operational efficiency, ensuring every employee is compensated accurately and on time while contributing to the compliance and excellence that defines our Finance team. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams, leverage your analytical skills, and make a daily impact in an essential business function. Responsibilities:

Own the day-to-day payroll processes, preparing spreadsheets, adjustments, bonuses, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll activities.

Collaborate with IT to drive enhancements in payroll programs, minimizing manual inputs and supporting efficiency initiatives.

Prepare, verify, and process payroll payments, including income, leave, overtime, commissions, prizes, and other adjustments before finalization.

Ensure the correct booking and reporting of payroll-related accounts, including taxes and withholdings, while supporting audit and compliance requirements.

Support internal, corporate, tax, social security, and SOX audit requests

Support expense report review and ensure compliance with Travel and Expense (T&E) policy. Support CBS in resolving any T&E policy issues encountered by CP personnel.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Business Administration, or related field.

Combine 5 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting.

Advanced skills in Excel and database management.

Knowledge of SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Prior work experience with multinational or consumer goods companies.

Experience supporting audit processes (tax, social security, SOX).

Analytical mindset with proven attention to detail and process improvement.

Strong collaboration and communication skills; demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.

Knowledge of Philippine labor law.
