Responsibilities

The core responsibility is to manage the credit to cash process of the customers including but not limited to credit management, overseeing collection & cash application and reconciliation of customer disputes.

  • Credit management – includes review of customers’ credit risk, provides risk rating, evaluates and releases blocked orders and evaluates the credit limit to be given to customers.
  • Collection & Cash application – coordinates with the collectors and payment processors to ensure that all due invoices are collected and processed in a timely manner
  • Review and clearing of Customer disputes o Validates all trade programs deductions of direct customers and claims of distributors to ensure compliance with the required documentation and approvals o Reconciles distributor claims and customer deductions with Customer Development team and Customer Service & Logistics team to ensure timely validation and resolution o Coordinates with CDT Finance team to match the customer deductions against accruals
  • Monitors customers’ subsidiary ledger and ensures that customer balances are updated based on the agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Prepares monthly AR analysis and reports

 

Key internal and external customers

Internal: Customer Development Team, Customer Service and Logistics

External: Customers, Third Party Services & Logistics Provider, Third Party Warehouse Provider

Leadership/Supervision : Supervise the Credit Processor and Collector (outsourced staff)

 

Education and Functional Experience Required:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related course Preferred: Minimum: At least 3 years related work experience Certified Public Accountant & Experience in Audit Firm an advantage

 

Skills, competencies and level of required supervision:

  • Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Easily adapts to new system (Experience using SAP an advantage)
  • Good analytical skills and detail-oriented
  • Time management
  • Can under pressure and/or for extended hours especially during month-end or budget season
