JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for providing Supply Chain leadership and drive collaboration with customers to ensure efficient services to shoppers, high customer service level and OSA. 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for providing collaborative end to end solutions that leverage joint capabilities and expertise in support of Colgate’s customer development and  customer service strategies. 

  • Provides support for the Commercial Business Planning (CBP) process and the critical link to Demand Planning to ensure alignment.  

  • Generates growth and profitability opportunities for both customers and Colgate-Palmolive by collaborating with the customer to reduce cost to serve, and improve retail in stock rates.

  • Monitors performance metrics (KPI’s) to understand service and efficiency trends within assigned customers and identify opportunities for improvement. Shares performance information with the Team and customers to develop collaborative approaches to accurate inefficient behaviors or fix system disconnects/failures. 

  • Coordinates cross-functional work teams to eliminate root causes of customer supply chain inefficiencies and Out of Stocks (OOS).

  • Optimally manages data flow, communication and processes associated with new and transitioning SKU’s, material status (e.g. SLOB, Discontinued) and ensures synchronization with customer’s data.

  • Support the enforcement of Supply Chain Terms & Conditions with the customer(s).

  • Educates the broader CDT on Supply Chain capabilities and constraints that impact effective delivery of product to the customer. 

  • Works closely with the Customer Development Team Finance Manager to optimize a “Cost to Serve” model.

  • Addresses special customer needs and expectations around product packaging, calling upon the appropriate Supply Chain and Demand Chain resources to develop/offer the most efficient solutions.

  • Leads opportunities to implement value added services such as Collaborative Planning, Efficient Replenishment, Data Synchronization, EDI, etc.

  • Actively participates and supports the Commercial Business Planning process (CBP).  Owns the S&OP process for Key Accounts under his/her responsibility. Closely works with Key Customer Development Managers on baseline plans while identifying inconsistencies in volume estimates based on historical trends.  Links' customer specific plans to Demand Planning process to ensure alignment and execution by the Supply Chain.   Communicates any Supply Chain issues or constraints that might impact the execution of the plan.

  • Seeks input from customers about their needs and expectations to continually improve Customer Service and Supply Chain performance.

  • Leverages information from the customer, as well as Colgate internal sources to generate a customer specific supply chain plan that is consistent with CP’s service strategy and capabilities. 

  • Conducts/coordinates routine on-shelf availability audits. Works with customer(s) to develop improvement protocols/methodologies.

EDUCATION AND FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (Major: Logistic)or above

 

REQUIREMENTS:  

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management

  • Familiar with the operations in FMCG customer service and logistics

 

SKILLS

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail 

  • Able to plan, prioritize, and flexible to changes

  • High proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Collaborative, customer oriented and proactive
