Job Summary (purpose)

We’re looking for a passionate HR professional that wants to make an impact and collaborate with our ANZ End to End Supply Chain teams as our new Human Resources Business Partner. You will collaborate with the Colgate Leadership and HR teams on strategic priorities including talent management, employee engagement, industrial relations, inclusion and belonging, and organisational effectiveness (performance, organisation design & capabilities and change management).

You will support the Villawood Manufacturing Plant, where Home Care liquid products are manufactured and distributed, driving positive labour relations and building leadership capabilities. You will also partner closely with our ANZ Customer Service and Logistics teams. 

Main Responsibilities


  • Drive Positive Labour Relations: Develop and implement proactive ER/IR strategies to manage employment relations and mitigate potential risks.

  • HR Partnership: Collaborate as a member of the Business HR Team to drive the HR Strategy for Colgate South Pacific.

  • Talent Management: Collaborate with ANZ E2E Supply Chain Leadership Teams in driving talent review processes and capability building. Propose solutions and best practices that are aligned with HR Strategy and CoHREs.

  • Learning and Development: Partner with the Learning CoHRE to make sure the employees considered in the target population are included in the training and learning experiences. Play an active role in identifying gaps and opportunity areas providing continuous improvement feedback and perspective.

  • Talent Acquisition: Partner with the Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards CoHREs, the Colgate Business Services Recruitment Team, and hiring managers to support the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of employees.

  • Build culture of belonging: Ensure that our Diversity Equity and Inclusion Strategy is being implemented in all the HR Processes.

  • Enterprise Bargaining: Lead the enterprise bargaining process and manage Union relationships to ensure successful negotiations.

  • Be a trusted partner:  Work collaboratively with key cross-functional divisions and across teams to design and deliver solutions that drive measurable business results.

Required (Education, Knowledge required, Language skills, etc)


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field

  • Demonstrated HR Business Partnering and Generalist experience in an operational environment, with the ability to support a 24x5 manufacturing operation

  • Experience managing complex IR/ER matters and EA negotiations

  • At least 7 years of progressive Human Resource experience in leading and implementing HR initiatives

  • Strong leadership and influence skills

  • Ability to act as a change agent – to deliver HR solutions in organisational change

  • Experience in one or more HR Specialty Area (Compensation, Benefits, People Relations, People Development, Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, Analytics, Organization Development/Design)

Preferred Requirements:


  • Proficiency with Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides) 

  • Proficiency with SAP-HR and Success Factors systems
