Job Summary (Purpose) :
The role will be supporting Finance in the areas of Tax & General Accounting
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation and the management of the tax relation streams - Income tax Return, Fringe Benefits Tax, BAS, Payroll Taxes by State & FTCQ
- General Accounting – Reconciliations of General Ledger Accounts, Accrual Management, GL Posting, Regional Bill outs, Qtr End Revenue Recognition and assisting in the preparation of Statutory Accounts.
- Lease Management, SOX testing, yearly 10k Reporting, ABS surveys, 3rd Party royalties (contract review and audit) and assistance in insurance related matters (workers compensation and general insurance)
Required (Education, Knowledge required, Language skills, etc)
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a professional accounting position.
- CPA or Chartered Accountants membership is preferable
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel and Analysis and Google Suite Reports required
- Knowledge of internal control management, financial accounting and tax accounting required
