About the role: 

This new role will be key in accelerating Hill’s eCommerce foothold by defining and executing Digital eCommerce Marketing and 6P strategies for Hill’s and for Hill’s within our key retail partners.

We are looking for someone who can take our Digital eCommerce marketing strategy and activation to the next level. 

 

Ideal Candidate:

You are a master of leading the development of insight-based consumer centric digital eCommerce programs. Ideally, you are currently working in an ecommerce digital marketing role and managing the day to day spend and implementation of acquisition, conversion & loyalty driving activity for your brands within B&M.com or Pure Play retail partners. In addition you have a strong commercial acumen providing recommendations around price, promotion and range in the eCommerce space. 

 

Your strategic plans elevate shopper engagement & and your portfolio within customers ecosystems and digital shelves. You know which levers to pull and where to invest to drive mutually beneficial outcomes for Hill’s and our key retail partners.

 

You consider yourself an innovator - you will look for opportunities to improve and seek creative solutions. Your ability to adapt and adjust the strategy with the customer, revisit objectives and gain insights from pre and post evaluation  to get the best ROI or ROO.

 

You are organised, efficient & passionate about ecommerce, and constantly curious on new and innovative ways to work with customers. 

 

Responsibilities:

As a Digital eCommerce Marketing Manager you will;

  • Own all elements  of the Digital eCommerce marketing strategy across different touchpoints and retailers. Working with pureplay and Omni Customer Development Managers to activate joint retailer digital marketing investment, Google smart shopping campaigns, SEM & SEO strategies etc
  • Be responsible for Development of digital 6P strategies,  sizing/portfolio, pricing and promotional recommendations based on inmarket data analysis
  • Be a master of digital shelf basics, understanding retailer algorithms and using this to influence onsite search,  drive ratings and reviews, enhanced content & best in class PDP and Brand store executions. Partnering with the customer development teams to action opportunities.
  • Staying on top of the latest eCommerce insights and trends and sharing these to elevate eCommerce knowledge within the wider commercial team along with our customers
  • Find and test new innovative ways to improve digital metrics including customer acquisition cost, conversion rate, average order value and auto delivery metrics as well as  A/B content testing and UX/UI testing
  • Manage Amazon Media spend and ROI - Interpret and leverage Amazon vendor central insights and data, sharing insights across the broader business
  • Partner with Vet Customer Development and field teams to maximise digital commerce opportunities. Understand opportunities and partner with the marketing brand teams and econtent designer to provide content that drives consideration and conversion.
  • Execute Hill’s owned Social Commerce always on strategy and uncover new areas to drive incremental eCommerce growth
  • Bring new ways of thinking and planning in an omni channel world to ensure a seamless shopper experience
  • Partner with the Brand teams to help maximise conversion on Hillspet.com.au 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing 
  • At least 3 years digital ecommerce marketing experience required
  • Currently working across online customers in the consumer goods (or similar space) 
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, digital shelf, Amazon Vendor Central
  • Strong relationship building and networking skills to be able to work effectively across the organisation
  • Innovative and curious mindset
