Note: 12 month contract role

 

Reporting to the Data Analytics lead, we are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this position, you will interpret, manage, and analyze data. 

 

Some of the key responsibilities: 

  • Leverage your understanding of the Australian market to assist our global IT partners in the collection, transformation and insightful visualisation of internal and external data

  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand key business questions. 

  • Deliver strong communications that promote new and existing data sources and reporting, share best practice, onboarding of new users

  • Build and maintain analytical solutions that support business decision making.

  • Work with external data providers to maximise the value of their data and services. This includes briefing analysis of critical business questions, ensuring briefs are fully answered and delivered on time, enabling activities like vendor led training sessions, thought leadership presentations, invoice validation.

  • Develop new tools and processes to automate the collection of data from relevant internal and external sources to support key projects like Market Mix Modelling, media tracking, new product tracking, business reviews. 

  • Work with the Data Analytics Lead to develop and execute a robust data governance framework that feeds all analytics tools and key business processes.

  • Data mining and analysis to extract insights that unlock new growth opportunities or support CPs commercial strategy

 

Required (Education, Knowledge required, Language skills, etc)

  • University degree mandatory

  • Relevant experience in Marketing, Sales or other Business functions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to build reports in Domo or Looker Studio

  • Technical understanding of relational database design and the on-going drive to extend knowledge in structured data methodologies (SQL, Python, Qlikview)

  • Experience with Google Big Query, Snowflake or similar
