We are excited to invite applications for the Supply Chain Analytics lead in the CS&L Organization of the Hill's EMEA CS&L Division team.

This role can be located in different CP/Hill's locations across EMEA Region.


The Supply chain Analytics lead will Report to the CS&L Director Hills EMEA and work cross functionally with Demand planning, factory planners, Logistics, CBS (O2I, Logistics, export & SNP team), Manufacturing sites, network operations and procurement. 


The Hills EMEA region has sales of $650 million and comprises 50 countries, 2 Hills manufacturing sites and 4 contract manufacturers. The region also supplies products to Japan, Asia and Australasia.

How will you contribute to this role?


In this role you will be responsible for the analytics solutions that power the Hills EMEA supply chain’s decision making. The role will work with teams across the supply chain to understand their key business questions and aid those teams in developing sustainable analytics that are easy to use and maintain. Those solutions could be existing global reports, or locally generated analytics.


You will also develop the data and analytics capability of the teams running Hills EMEA supply chain by providing ongoing training to help individuals understand how to structure and access data from our systems to generate insight.


You will be resposible for:

  • Identifying and developing new Supply Chain analytics
    • Develop analytics that are groundbreaking while maximising global solutions by working with Supply chain team members, to understand their key questions, the value of answering those questions and the data sources required.
    • Be a role model for “asking great questions”.
  • Funding the growth
    • Utilise existing and new Analytics to identify funding the growth opportunities and work with supply chain teams across the region to help them identify potential savings.
  • Maintaining Existing Analytics

    • Develop and maintain a Hills EMEA supply chain one stop web portal for all key analytics. This portal will bring together key global and regional analytics in an easy to navigate formatt. Enabling supply chain teams to easily find answers to key business questions.
    • Understand the existing reporting environment and establish ways to reduce the time spent creating and updating analytics.
    • Automate analytics solutions as much as possible, while ensuring that anything that cannot be automated can be sustainably and easily updated by the appropriate supply chain team.
  • Embeding a Data and Analytics mindset across Hills EMEA supply chain
    • Develop data and analytics capabilities across Hills EMEA 
    • Ensure that existing analytics tools are widely used. Provide training to new team members and refresher training to existing team members. Cover everything to do with collating and presenting data. Including global tableau reports, extracting data from SAP, how to use Business intelligence systems and google data studio. 
    • Support & complement the global training initiatives
    • Champion disciplined data creation and stewardship

You will also be a member of Global Supply Chain Analytics Team
25% of your time will be focused in supporting the global supply chain analytics team, on activities linked to global analytics projects and understanding best practice analytics development.

For this role you need to be inquisitive and willing to learn.

You don’t need to be an existing data scientist, but must be interested in data and the systems that store / present information.

You are a self-starter that can work with a wide range of groups to understand their business questions and develop sustainable analytics solutions that generate real value to the business.

You are confident challenging the status quo and promote continuous improvement.

You have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization


What are the required qualifications?

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business or technical degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Service & Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Finance in FMCG or related industries.
  • Experience with SAP and APO supply network planning.
  • Ideally some experience or willingness to learn how to use Tableau or/and Google data studio, google big query and Python data science programming language.
  • Excellent computer literacy in google tools and or Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
