Now there is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Marketing Manager to join the Colgate Family and our Northern Europe Marketing Team for a 10-12 month maternity cover. Could this be you?

 

WHAT’s THE JOB PURPOSE?

In this role you will lead a team to develop and execute our Brand strategy across the Northern Europe Hub (including UK, IR, DK, SE, FI, NO) to consistently deliver the category and commercial objectives and build our equity with consumers. You will be a key member of the NEH Consumer Experience Leadership Team and manage complex sub-categories, both established (eg manual and battery toothbrushes, regular and medicated mouthwashes) as well as new, growing (eg at-home-whitening) categories and breakthrough innovation. 

 

The role is reporting to Northern Europe Hub Consumer Experience Director (Heads Marketing, Digital, Shopper and Professional for the Hub).

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ARE: 

Portfolio and People Responsibility

  • Build exceptional brand experiences to grow our Toothbrush, Mouthwash and Whitening device businesses along the full consumer journey (Attention, Consideration, Purchase and Loyalty)

  • Elevate the digital maturity of the brand through key digital channels and priorities (eg websites, search, eCommerce) to drive visibility and conversion, while building our 1P data capabilities 

  • Drive the category Budget and LE Planning process including forecasting of volume, ASP, category dynamics, volume/value shares and relationship of shipments to consumption.

  • Partner in monthly commercial processes to monitor business health and identify appropriate plans and incremental opportunities to deliver and exceed KPIs.

  • Develop NEH innovation grid based on Division grids. Influence division bundle development and timing to maximise local success and identify further opportunities. 

  • Partner across NEH commercial organisation, division/global to drive Brand Planning and Gateway process to ensure brand critical initiatives are progressed on time and on target.

  • Plan, implement and control all marketing investment against agreed objectives, within budget, and aligned to Commercial Investment Optimisation (CIO) principles to achieve category and brand goals.

  • Partner with Insights to identify and disseminate consumer, market, shopper and competitor category insights to build recommendations for brand action.

  • Lead and develop marketing team - Motivate, mentor and empower team in the development and execution of best in class brand and digital marketing plans.
